Meet the creative team that brought I Can Spell My Colors to life!
Leesa Owens received her college degree in Graphics and Commercial Art. She loves living in Utah, being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Leesa is the mother of five children, all of whom have inherited her incredible artistic talents. She also has five darling grandchildren. Illustrating this book has been the highlight of her year.
Robert Peterson is the gifted man behind the audio arrangements that accompany this book. He studied trumpet, music composition, and conducting at the University of Michigan and Brigham Young University.
Bob has performed with a variety of groups on three continents, has recorded commercially, and has had the honor of backing Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight. He composed, sang, and trumpeted with several U.S. Army Bands, and taught at colleges in West Virginia and Utah. Bob currently performs with the Orchestra at Temple Square, teaches trumpet, and loves helping other musicians bring their music to life.
